// about

who is owlspec

I operate at the intersection of two disciplines that look nothing alike — but feel the same. Both security and music production are about finding patterns, exploiting structure, and knowing which rules to break.

security

I'm an information security professional with a focus on offensive security — red team operations, vulnerability research, and penetration testing. I've worked across fintech, healthcare, and enterprise environments. I think like an attacker, build like a developer, and write like someone who wants you to actually understand it.

music

On the music side, I produce dark, atmospheric instrumentals — rooted in hip-hop but pushing into ambient, industrial, and cinematic territory. The DAW is another kind of terminal. The 808 is just a different kind of payload. I've produced for independent artists, placed tracks in short films, and I'm always working on the next project.
