New Producer Drops: Plugins, Gear & DAW Updates

FL Studio users are getting Antares AutoTune Go free through FL Cloud, and that's a bigger deal than it sounds. AutoTune Go isn't the full Pro plugin, but as a vocal sketch tool for getting a take in the pocket fast, free is free, and it removes a real barrier for anyone starting out without a vocal chain built yet.

TagoPitch dropped as a free vocal pitch and formant shifter for macOS and Windows. Formant control is the part most home setups skip because the good tools have historically cost real money, so a free option here is worth grabbing just to have in the toolbox, even if it's not your daily driver.

Universal Audio pushed a major update to Luna, and they're calling it their biggest software release yet. UA doesn't do "free DAW" updates lightly, so if you've been sitting on Luna without opening it much, this is the week to actually dig in.

What I'm actually running right now

I've been leaning on formant-aware pitch tools more than usual lately for doubles on rap vocals, trying to keep a stacked take from sounding like five copies of the same robot. Something like TagoPitch is worth having open in a session just to A/B against what you're already running.
